Features

The introduction of the Euro currency has created all sorts of problems for graphic designers and typesetters when attempting to generate Euro currency symbols in text. Euro symbols simply disappear when word-processing text enters the page-layout process. This is because ninety-five percent of the current fonts available do not contain Euro symbols — a situation which will probably not be solved in the short term.

Traditionally, when applying a font, the currency symbol or inequality symbol appears instead of the Euro symbol, implying that the designer will have to manually apply a special Euro symbol at the required positions. Not only is this a very time-consuming process, it also introduces the risk of omissions.

Euro Font Converter XT automates the Euro-symbol-conversion process, saving precious time and narrowing down the risk of errors. The requested Euro symbol will be applied on selected text or entire documents with one simple step. The user can define the type of Euro symbol in the XTensions module palette. The Euro Font Converter XT applies Adobe Euro fonts (available for free from www.Adobe.com).
