Features

InDesign includes a feature to convert QuarkXPress files (v3.3X and v4.1X) and PageMaker (v6.5) to InDesign documents however, the conversion process involves two or three dialog boxes that the user must confirm for each document being converted.

Q-to-InDesign Batch automatically converts QuarkXPress and Adobe PageMaker documents into an InDesign format. Q-to-InDesign Batch makes use of InDesign's built-in conversion system, but automates the process. Using a batch feature, the dialog options are turned off and the user can select an entire folder or disk structure to be searched.

Features:

• choose QuarkXPress and/or Adobe PageMaker files when searching for files;

• Q-to-InDesign Batch searches for files in the folder or disc selected and continues with subfolders;

• create log file option; and

• log file reports which files have been converted correctly.
