Page Curl is the Photoshop Plug-in with an all new and unrivaled engine that enables the user to not only bend the image, using two types of bending (curling and folding), but also texturize it (using the bump maps), orient it in three-dimensional space (including the perspective distortions), and obtain total control over the process of lighting the image (including the option of dropping inner shadows). The user interface of Page Curl is extremely convenient and has some unique features that make work with the Plug-in both very efficient and easy at the same time.Features:• an ambient-light, auto-adjust option has been added to enable the user to preserve some areas of the page from changing colors while lighting the page. (This feature is very important in many cases such as, for example, when it is necessary to bend a cutout part of the image, set the light source(s), drop the internal shadows, and so on, and the non-bent area of this part is to remain the same after applying the Plug-in for further seamless cutting into the main image);• export the result of the render to a PSD or PNG for further operations with the render result in hosts other than Photoshop;• save and load settings of the Plug-in option are cross-platform to enable the easy transfer of the created project;• create both the turning-page effect and the folding-page effect (page curl and page fold; collectively, bends);• create several bends within a single session;• orient the page in three-dimensional space;• specify the desired level of the perspective while orienting in three-dimensional space;• work with arbitrarily shaped images (non-rectangular, with full or partial transparent areas, and more);• complete control over the process of creating the surface for a curled or a folded page by adjusting the following parameters of the surface: angle; level; radius; obliquity; torsion; direction; the limit of the turn for page curling; and angle, level, folding angle, and direction for page folding;• switch the direction (upward or downward) of page curling or folding;• adjust the opacity of the entire page;• adjust the cross-opacity of the page;• specify various content for either side of the page: content from the active layer; solid color (custom color, host's foreground or background color); image from the file, that may be either tiled or resized to fit; or, with Photoshop 7 or higher, content from any layer of the current document;• flip the content of either side of the page;• swap the content of the page's sides;• choose between simple- and advanced-lighting modes; or• adjust the level of the shading in the simple-lighting mode;• make the bent portion of the page extend outside the page's initial boundary;• make the bent portion of the page cut into the remaining part of the page;• create the non-complete page-curling effect by adjusting the turn limit; • create a transparent area under the curled or folded part of the page;• multiple-level undo option;• supports RGB, CMYK, and grayscale color modes;• specify the quality of the surface rendering, including the auto mode;• export as a PSD or PNG;• exported PSD file includes current color profile provided by the host;• fast and high-quality preview;• provides various backdrops for the main preview area: standard checkerboard; custom solid color; content of the active layer of the current document; or, with Photoshop 7 or higher, the content of any layer of the current document;• cross-platform load and save settings; and• recordable scripting parameters for automation (scripting-aware).Total control over the process of lighting the page in the advanced-lighting mode includes: adding up to 25 light sources (direct-light sources) for lighting both sides of the page; specifying the direction of either light source; specifying the parameters of the diffuse reflection of either light source, including the color and intensity and its presence for either side of the page; specifying the parameters of the specular reflection of either light source, including the color, intensity, and the specular exponent of the specular reflection and its presence for either side of the page; specifying the parameters of the ambient light, including its color and intensity for either side of the page; ambient-light auto-adjust option; and rendering inner shadows with adjustable opacity and size (optionally, inner shadows are dropped by any existing light source). The ability to texturize either side of the page using the grayscale images is called adding a bump map. Use either the document's channels or any file. The following adjustments are available when adding a bump map: blur; level; flip vertical; and flip horizontal. Optionally choose to invert (black to white and vice versa) the existing bump map.Page Curl 2.1 and Page Curl Pro 2.0 are targeted to create the page curling and folding effect, however, the features listed below distinguish the Page Curl Pro.• create several bends within a single session;• orient the page in three dimensions, including adjustable perspective;• specify the limit of the page turn and, as a result, the ability to create the non-complete page-curling effect;• make the bent part of the page cut into the remaining part of the page;• use the advanced-lighting mode for obtaining total control over the process of lighting the page;• drop inner shadows with adjustable opacity and size;• texturize either side of the page by using the grayscale images that can be manipulated inside the Plug-in; and • multiple-level undo option.Manufacturer: Av Bros.
